On Thursday, the Delhi government announced the commencement of applications for admission to class 9 and class 11 at Dr B R Ambedkar Schools of Specialised Excellence. Interested candidates can submit their applications until December 22.
Presently, there are 37 Specialised Schools of Excellence in Delhi, offering a total of 4,400 seats. These schools adopt a specialized curriculum, focusing on specific subjects from class 9 onwards.
For the upcoming academic session 2023-24, the Delhi government has reported approximately 92,000 applications for admission to these schools. The Ambedkar Schools of Specialised Excellence encompass various streams, including the Armed Forces Preparatory School, School of High-end 21st Century Skills, Humanities, School of Performing and Visual Arts, and the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
