Delhi Public School Ghaziabad (DPSG) was promoted by Om Pathak, the then District Magistrate of Ghaziabad in 1980 with support from Dharamvira, the then president of the Delhi Public School Society and Lt. Colonel Dr.GPS Waraich, the then principal of DPS, Mathura road. It is a premier English medium co-educational institution situated on the Delhi-Meerut Highway in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and offers education from pre-nursery to class XII.
DPSG boasts a sprawling campus of 15 acres which provides a congenial environment for the intellectual pursuits and holistic development of nearly 3500 students.
Since its affiliation with CBSE in 1985, 21 higher secondary batches have passed through the portals of the school. It is the first school in NCR to receive ISO 9001-2000 certification from the international body Det Norske Veritas.
The 15 acre school campus offers modern amenities such as state-of-the-art science laboratories, various activity centers, well stocked library, computer lab, internet and LCD Labs. The junior activity block accommodates six spacious rooms for various activities such as art and sculpture, dance, music etc.
The school campus hosts two spacious fully air conditioned auditoriums well equipped with facilities for dance, theatre and other literary functions.
The campus also hosts a sports complex which includes a full-sized play ground, two hard court and four turf cricket pitches for net practice and three main pitches for the matches, 400 m 8 lanes track, four basketball, two handball, two tennis courts, a large skating rink, a hockey ground, an indoor table tennis facility and two gymnasiums.
DPSG offers the CBSE curriculum for the secondary and senior secondary classes, and an in-house curriculum for the primary classes. Care has been taken to develop a curriculum that is child and life centered.
Extracurricular:
Numerous opportunities for self-expression are made available to the students through creative writing and public speaking. The school publishes an annual magazine ‘DHRUV’ and newsletters at regular intervals and students are encouraged to contribute articles for these journals. Inter house competitions and quiz competitions are held regularly.
For the holistic development of the students, the school promotes different clubs. For co-curricular activities students are assessed in any of the two areas from the following:
(i) Literary and Creative Skills (ii) Scientific Skills (iii) Information and Communication Technology (ICT) (iv) Organizational and Leadership Skills.

Prospectus is available at the school office on all working days from 9 am to 1 pm. Age criteria for nursery is 3 plus and below 4 years as on April 1 of the year of admission. Parents of selected candidates are required to contact the reception/ administrative office between 9 am and 1 pm to complete admission formalities.
The admission test for classes I-V would test the candidates in English, maths and Hindi and for admission to classes IV- IX ,it would test them in English, maths and science.
