Overview

Christ University (formerly Christ College) was founded in 1969 with the motto of providing quality education to the young generation. The Department of Management Studies (DMS) of Christ University, was established in 1991 to offer undergraduate and post graduate courses in management in various streams. DMS is recognized as an Institute with Potential for Excellence by University Grants Commission (UGC). For management studies, DMS, Christ University ranks among the top 35 B-schools in India and in the state of Karnataka, it is ranked among the top 3 B-schools. In 2012, it was ranked No. 37 among B-schools in India by Business Today survey. Every year, DMS students get lucrative offers from renowned companies during campus placements.

Campus

The new campus of Christ University is located at a distance of 25 km from the main campus on a 75 acre plot in Kengeri which hosts a picturesque ambience with a herbal garden. The new state of the art campus hosts well-maintained gardens, air-conditioned seminar hall, panel room, conference hall, assembly hall, auditorium, health club, kiosk, library and residential accommodation. Play ground and facilities for outdoor and indoor sports are also housed within the campus.

General Information

Admission

For admission to MBA in DMS, candidates should have scored 50 percent in undergraduate course from any recognized university. A composite score of 600 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA or 70 percent or above in Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs is also required.
