Jobs in Education System

Heart to Heart

Dear Parent

If you have a child, you are likely to have many toys, games and books strewn around the house.

You might have spent hours browsing and choosing, reading labels about how educational a toy is, or how it can build your child’s IQ. Or, you might have a shelf of birthday gifts and well-used toys that you don’t want to part with. You might even enjoy some of the gifts yourself.

For every child who has too many ‘educative’ toys, there are many children who have never experienced any.

We are open to helping underprivileged children with education, food and shelter, but what about toys? Toy companies extol the virtues of playing brain-stimulating games, and toys that encourage motor development. Shouldn’t poor children also experience them?

It’s a good idea to invite under-privileged kids to play with some games/toys you have at home.

If your child has toys that are rarely used, give them away. And enable your child to enjoy the gift of giving.
