Founded on September 11, 1986, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Pandoh, Himachal Pradesh is a coeducational residential school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and managed by the Government of India through the autonomous organisation Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi.
The 11 acre JNV, Pandoh campus hosts Multimedia classrooms, a high-tech computer-lab, well-equipped separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology with adequate apparatus, sufficient chemical, slides, microscope, OHP, LCD projector, herbarium and specimen for study, and a well-stocked library featuring 8000 books on Education, Science, Literature, Philosophy and General Knowledge besides 30 periodicals, journals, magazines and newspaper.

Affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi, JNV offers schooling from class VI to class XII.
At secondary level, JNV Pandoh offers five compulsory subjects and an optional subject Hindi.
At senior secondary level, the school offers the following subjects:
Science Stream – JNV offers English, Physics, Biology and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Hindi/Maths as optional subjects.
Humanities Stream – JNV offers English, Economics, Geography and History as compulsory subjects and Hindi/Maths as optional subjects.
Academic session runs from April 1 to March 31.

Internet Wi-FiAdmissions to JNV are made through national level competitive examination conducted by CBSE and the children are admitted at class VI level. Children are also admitted against the vacant seats in class IX and in class XI also through regional level examination/marks in the previous qualifying examination.
A candidate seeking admission must be between the age group of 9-13 years on May 1 of the year of admission.
Admission process starts on August 1 and closes on August 31.
