The Karnataka 2nd year PUC result 2020 has been declared today, July 14, 2020 at karresults.nic.in. Students can check their result by entering their registration number. A total of 69.2 percent students cleared the exam this year.
Students will get their result on their registered mobile number via SMS. They can also send ‘KAR12 <space> Registration Number’ to 56263 for the results. Students are advised to download the scorecard for future reference.
A total 5.95 lakh students appeared for the Karnataka 2nd PUC exam out of which a total of 20,958 students have scored 100 percent marks in all subjects. Further, according to reports, among streams, science students recorded 76.2 pass percentage, while 65.52 percent students from commerce and 41.27 students from arts cleared the exam. Among the districts, Udupi has emerged the best-performing region, where the pass percentage among students was at 90.71 percent.
This year, girls outperformed boys, with 68.73 percent of the female students passing the exam and 54.73 percentage of boys passing the exam.
Last year, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 61.73 percent with science students recording a 66.58 pass percentage, commerce with 66.39 and arts with 50.53.
