The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the SSC or class 10 examination result 2020 today. It is be available at the following websites — mahresult.nic.in, sscresult.mkcl.org and maharashtraeducation.com. About 15 lakh students appeared for the exams and the pass percentage is at 95.30 percent.
The board exam which was scheduled to be concluded on April 1, was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The pending papers included geography and vocational subjects was later cancelled and the students were evaluated on the basis of the average score.
The pass percentage at various regions include:
Konkan: 98.77%
Pune: 97.34%
Nagpur: 93.84%
Amravati: 95.14%
Latur: 93.09%
Aurangabad: 92%
The pass percentage of Maharashtra SSC result 2020 has increased by 18.20 percent compared to last year and this is due to the reintroduction of orals, internals and activity-based questions, Board chairman Shakuntala Kale said.

To clear the SSC examinations, a student needs to secure at least 35 percent marks in each subject. Although every year, students collect the results from their respective schools, this year, they may receive digital marksheets due to the social distancing norms to contain the spread of Covid-19.
