New Era School, Breach Candy is a coeducational day school that follows the curriculum prescribed by the Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Established in 1930, the New Era School, sited in Breach Candy, Mumbai, is an English medium school.
After being acquired by the Aditya Birla Group in 2008, the New Era School has introduced Cambridge International Examinations, UK’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum for classes VI, VII, VIII, IX and X.
The school is housed in a four-storeyed building hosting spacious classrooms, laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, a canteen, and a well-stocked library with a collection of volumes on various subjects.
The school offers education from class I to X and is affiliated with the Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with students prepared to write its class X SSC exam.
Recently the school has also introduced Cambridge International Examinations, UK’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum in the secondary classes. Students have the option of writing the class X IGCSE exam.
