Overview

Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak took off as Medical College, Rohtak in 1960. In 1994, Medical College, Rohtak was renamed as Pt. BD Sharma Medical College, Rohtak and was subsequently upgraded to a Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in 1995. Today, Pt. BD Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak is a prominent institution not just for medical education but also for the health care facilities both at the national and global level.
