Overview

Sanskar School, Sirsi Road, Jaipur is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Started in April 2002, Sanskar School is founded and managed by Sri Sai Shiksha Sansthan.

The school aims to equip its pupils with a critical and global outlook which can make them committed citizens of the world and to recognise and channelise the potential of the pupil and develop thinking, communication, social, scientific and interpersonal skills.

Campus

The school campus hosts high tech, four storey, air cooled buildings with ramp facility for the primary, middle and senior sections. The classrooms are equipped with interactive boards and projector, air conditioned computer lab, well equipped labs for physics, chemistry, biology, fine arts, geography, psychology and mathematics, student resource centre, teacher resource center, auditorium and separate well stocked libraries for junior and senior sections, separate rooms for art and craft, music, dramatics and dance.

The campus also houses an amphitheatre for outdoor functions/ activities, basketball courts, tennis court, cricket ground and football ground. There is also a play area with slides, sand pit, aviary and pet farm for pre-primary section.

Academics

In the pre-primary and primary classes, emphasis is on creative work and group activities that are skill-based with structured curriculum to nourish the mind, heart and body and hence music, art and craft, dramatics are creatively balanced with literature, mathematics, science and social science. The teaching method followed is playway along with use of audio-visual aids, students’ resource room and outdoor activities. In addition to the above mentioned activities, the primary and middle school classes have books prescribed by NCERT, New Delhi. At the secondary level the curriculum is according to the CBSE and at senior secondary level the school offers humanities, commerce and science streams.

Admission

The age eligibility to pre primary is 3 years and admissions are granted on first come first served basis. Admissions to other classes are subject to availability. Students seeking admission in classes IX and XI need to write an entrance test.
