Overview

Established in 1963, South Delhi Polytechnic for Women (SDPW) is sited on the bank of river Jamuna in New Delhi. Having completed 49 years of excellence, SDPW has emerged as the one of the best vocational institutes in the country. South Delhi Polytechnic for Women runs under the aegis of Vocational Education Society. The motto of this institute is to encourage everybody to develop their skills especially women, and imparts entrepreneurial skills in students. The institute also offers placement services to students.

Accommodation

The institute provides hostel for girls, which is fully equipped to accommodate 200 students. There are 72 air-cooled rooms with an attached bathroom/toilet in each room. Total hostel fee is Rs.54,000 per annum and it can be paid in 3 installments.
