The Amity University Student Branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) successfully hosted “Agent’s Fest 2025”, a national-level, theme-based pitching competition that brought together engineering students from across India. The event provided a platform for young innovators to present technology-driven ideas in areas such as Blockchain & Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, and Healthcare.
With an aim to enhance technical skills, foster innovation, and encourage networking and teamwork, the competition witnessed an overwhelming response. Out of 185 registrations, 99 teams advanced past the first round, followed by 20 teams in the second round, and ultimately, 10 teams competed in the final round.
After intense competition and rigorous evaluation, the top three teams were announced:
- Winner: Team “CODEpreneurs” from SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Chennai
- First Runner-Up: Team “The Phoenix” from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Delhi
- Second Runner-Up: Team “DevMechanics” from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies – Technical Campus
The winning teams received cash prizes of ₹15,000, ₹10,000, and ₹5,000, respectively.
The event saw participation from leading universities and institutions across India, including Parul University Vadodara, SGT University Gurgaon, Chennai Institute of Technology, University School of Automation and Robotics, GLA University, GL Bajaj University, Mandsaur University, Mahatma Gandhi Mission College of Engineering and Technology, SRM Institute of Engineering and Technology Chennai, and many others.
The competition was not just about winning but also about learning and embracing challenges. Dr. BK Murthy, Dean (Translational Research and Entrepreneurship Development) of Science, Engineering, and Technology, emphasized the importance of staying ahead in emerging technologies, stating:
“Students must master technologies like AI, Data Science, and the Metaverse, as they are shaping every industry today. The goal should not just be passing exams, but thinking innovatively and solving real-world problems for the benefit of society.”
Prof. (Dr.) K. M. Soni, Deputy Dean, Engineering & Technology, AUUP, highlighted the increasing role of AI in the digital era and motivated students to embrace competition. He remarked:
“As digital transformation accelerates, AI is becoming an integral part of our daily lives. The IEEE Student Branch at Amity Noida aims to demystify and democratize AI technology for students. Remember, participation is more important than winning or losing. Failures are stepping stones to learning and success.”
“Agent’s Fest 2025” successfully created a space for young innovators, developers, and tech enthusiasts to showcase their talent and engage with industry professionals. The event reinforced the significance of cutting-edge technological solutions, teamwork, and creative problem-solving, inspiring students to push the boundaries of innovation.
With such enthusiastic participation and groundbreaking ideas, the competition has set the stage for future tech leaders, shaping the next generation of entrepreneurs, engineers, and digital visionaries.
