Garden CityCollege, Bangalore was established in 1985. The college is affiliated to Bangalore University, approved by AICTE-Government of India and accredited by NAAC as ISO 9001:2008 certified institution. According to a college spokesperson, “In the past few years the institution has brought innovations which are building ambience and strengthening the learning system. GCC has always been distinct in the field of education and is also being counted among the trend setter colleges in the country.” The vision of the institution is to provide affordable world class education in order to uplift the society they live in. GCC also nurtures human values and ethics, imparting knowledge which emphasizes on life skills.

The Garden City College offers its students access to printed copies of all subjects. It has an extensive electronic collection with thousands of electronic journals and materials in audio-visual formats. The library is open till late evening to enable students to access materials whenever they need it. GardenCityCollege also provides transport facility across the city for students. The buses are also available for all academic related work.
