Overview

Founded in 2003, DPS Surat is a co-educational English medium higher secondary day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is a franchisee school of the well-reputed DPS Society, which has a network of 150 DPS schools countrywide.

DPS Surat offers state-of-the-art facilities for a wide variety of sports as well as digital resources, enabling students to develop their skills in multiple ways.

Campus

Located on seven acres of land, the campus is divided into pre-primary, primary, secondary and senior secondary blocks. The school is equipped with wi-fi internet connectivity, a multiple intelligence centre, library and resource centre, computer and science laboratories, and audio-visual centre.

For sports activities, the school provides an indoor and outdoor sports zone with facilities for basketball, football, volleyball, cricket, hockey, tennis, skating, kho-kho, swimming, archery, athletics, chess, taekwondo, gymnastics, table tennis, and yoga.

Academics

The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It follows the Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation (CCE) system. It offers education from nursery to class XII.

At the Plus Two level, DPS Surat provides two streams: science and commerce. Subjects offered include English, physics, chemistry, business studies, maths, economics, computer science, informatics practices etc.

Extracurricular

The school gives special attention to the all-round development of every student. Music, dance, drama, art and craft are part of the regular time table. Admission

Application and registration forms are available at the school reception. The forms should be filled and submitted within three days from the date of issue. Minimum age for admission to the pre-nursery class is two and a half years.
