Anant National University declares the initiation of the second phase of the Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test (ADEPT), the university’s online entrance test for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Programme. In an unprecedented move in design education, this ADEPT round will be available in five languages: English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, and Tamil.
This groundbreaking step represents the first time in India that a design institution assesses creativity and innovation aptitude in languages beyond the traditionally used English, showcasing Anant’s dedication to inclusivity and equal opportunities for aspiring designers with diverse linguistic backgrounds. By expanding assessment options, Anant promotes inclusivity and democratizes access to design education, welcoming a more extensive range of talent. The online design entrance test is scheduled for April 7, 2024. Registration is open and will conclude on March 31, 2024.
