The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department is actively pursuing the implementation of an entrepreneurship training program devised by Sabeer Bhatia, co-founder of Hotmail, for students in government schools.
During a meeting with Bhatia on Wednesday, Praveen Prakash, Principal Secretary of School Education, discussed the importance of instilling business knowledge in students from an early age.
Prakash announced that an entrepreneurship course, designed by Sabeer Bhatia and targeted at students in grades nine to twelve, will soon be offered in state government schools.
In addition to this, the Principal Secretary engaged with officials from the Spanish and German Embassies to explore the development of an Artificial Intelligence-powered digital teacher for teaching German and Spanish languages to government school students.
He also noted the state government’s commitment to swiftly introducing the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum in government schools.News, States
