Located in Navi Mumbai, Goldcrest High is an English medium coeducational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi and offers schooling from pre-primary level through class X. The school was established in 1988 under the leadership of late Vilasrao Deshmukh, union minister of science and technology and earth sciences, Government of India. 

The prime motto of the school is “on the wings of excellence” and focuses in tutoring students in an environment that encompasses learning and playing, knowledge and basic ethics, simple logic and imagination for the holistic development of the young minds.

Campus

Goldcrest High school hosts well lit spacious classrooms, an air conditioned activity hall that includes a doll’s house, a reading area, an art corner, an audio visual area, an amphitheatre are and a puppet area. It has well equipped separate laboratories for subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology and computers.

The school houses a well stocked library with a wide range of books available for all age groups, a music room, a dance studio, an art studio, a cafeteria providing nutritional and balanced diet and an infirmary operated by a visiting doctor as and when required.

The school campus hosts a large playground, a basket ball court, a tennis court and a swimming pool to cater to the sporting needs of children.

Affiliated with CISCE, Goldcrest High offers schooling from pre-primary level to class X.

At pre-primary level, comprising play group to senior KG, the school provides a balanced curriculum with co-curricular activities for the child’s overall development. The curriculum includes play activities, set tasks, adult interaction along with subjects such as language, maths and physical development.

At primary level, comprising classes I to IV, the school concentrates on theme based learning methods with subjects such as English, Hindi, Marathi, Environmental Education, Social Studies (History, Civics and Geography), Mathematics, General Science, ICT and Arts along with field trips, projects and presentations. At middle and secondary levels, the school offers subjects such as English, Hindi, Environmental Education, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, ICT, Arts, Physical Education, Value Education, Music and Marathi (till class VIII).

The school encourages students to participate in events such as annual concert, SUPW cooking without fire, drama, Republic Day celebration, art attack, theme presentation, writing competition and music programmes, as part of their co-curricular activities.

Sporting activities include football, cricket, hockey table-tennis, basketball, swimming, tennis, skating, yoga and martial arts.
