Mohan Babu University announced the accomplishment of Dr N Manikandan, a distinguished faculty member and professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Recognized as one of the top 2% of global scientists in Stanford University‘s 2023 world list, Dr. Manikandan’s achievement underscores his remarkable contributions to the field.
Stanford University, USA, has published the list of the world’s top 2% scientists across all disciplines. The ranking is based on bibliometric data from the Scopus database, encompassing over 2,10,000 researchers globally out of approximately 9 million scientists. The assessment spans 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields, with 4,635 researchers from India included in this distinguished list.
According to the university’s press release Dr. Manikandan’s significant impact in Mechanical Engineering includes 99 indexed publications, nearly 1000 citations, a notable H-index of 16, and the creation of 12 patented designs.
