Overview

St. Joseph’s Co-Ed School, Bhopal is a co-educational English medium day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi offering schooling from nursery through class XII. It was established in 1986 for boys & girls. Late Most Rev. Dr Eugene D’Souza is the founder chairman and Rev. Fr. Dr. Agnel Jose De Heredia is the founder principal. It is reckoned among the top schools in Bhopal for its excellence in discipline, quality education and training of body and mind.

Campus

The school campus hosts spacious classrooms, a computer lab equipped with the latest computers and internet access, well-equipped separate laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology. The school library features 12,981 reference books, 15 periodicals and 13 dailies.

Other facilities include music room, dance room, swimming pool, gymnasium and a huge playground with facilities for sports and games such as basket ball, football, cricket, Kho-Kho and kabaddi.

Academics

The academic session commences in April. Affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi, the school offers education from Nursery through class XII.

The St. Joseph’s Co-ed School follows a continuous and comprehensive evaluation through assessment in the Primary classes for enrichment of the total personality. The school offers faculties like maths, science, and commerce to the students with optional subjects like Hindi, Sanskrit, computer science, informatics practices, maths and accountancy in different combinations as prescribed by CBSE.

Extra-curricular activities:

Students are encouraged to participate in co curricular activities such as writing stories, poems, essays, slogans, karate, music, and dance. Sporting activities include basket ball, football, cricket, swimming, Kho-Kho and kabaddi.
