Established in 1976, the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Jaipur was promoted by the Government of India and Rajasthan. At present, it is one of the 51 national institutes imparting Hotel Management and Catering education under the Ministry of Tourism. The institute is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida.
The college campus hosts two bakery labs, a confectionery lab, basic training kitchen, quality food kitchen, advanced training kitchen, two restaurants for training, house-keeping department, a well stocked library with volumes of books for both circulation and reference and a computer lab with internet facility.
