Reputed entrepreneur and a pioneer in Odisha’s real estate, Shri Jagadish Prasad Naik founded The DN Wisdom Tree Global School in memory of his teacher-father Dasarathi Naik’s vision and mission of dedicating his life towards the accomplishments of his students.
An astute visionary, Naik dreamt of establishing a school of global standards with state-of-the-art infrastructure and the best available educational facilities for children of Odisha. He believed that a holistic educational foundation, knowledge and values combined with sensitive, sharp thinking, superior communication skills, and the ability to cope harmoniously with diverse challenges are crucial to children’s development as future achievers and leaders. A gold medalist in Economics from Utkal University and an alumnus of the prestigious Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School, Jaipur, Panchami Manoo Ukil is an acclaimed bird watcher who pioneered community birdwatching in the state, avid naturalist and keen photographer, and published author.
Her love for children and an abiding interest in making a difference drew her to accept the responsibility of setting up and operationalising The DN Wisdom Tree Global School. She brings an enriching educational experience, spirit of innovation, global outlook, and positive values to her role as School Leader and Vice Chairperson. A hands-on leader, Panchami believes a real difference in education can be made with a conscious switch from ‘informational’ to ‘transformational’.
